Abdallah Beshara is a 27-year-old dual national — Bahraini and American. He found racing early, cutting his teeth on Bahrain’s karting circuit before graduating into the Formula Gulf Academy, the UAE-based single-seater feeder programme that has produced some of the Gulf’s sharpest young drivers.
At 17 he stepped into his first car race at Yas Marina Circuit and podiumed on debut — a result that impressed his coach, ex-Formula Renault and Le Mans 24 Hours class winner Tommy Erdos, enough to call it early. From there it was a full Formula Gulf 1000 season, a stint training in Europe, and a step up to Formula 4 South East Asia in 2019, racing for Malaysian squad Meritus.GP under car No. 17.
These days, by his own description: racing driver, athlete — still keeping a hand in motorsport.
EARLY
Karting
First laps, first trophies — cut his teeth in Bahrain’s karting scene before graduating to the Formula Gulf Academy.
2016
Debut weekend, Yas Marina
His first car race, at 17. Qualified from the second row and recovered from a lap-2 mistake to pass Omar Gazzaz for third — the Gulf Oil Trophy on debut. In race two he went around the outside of both front-row starters into Turn 1 and briefly led, before settling for fourth.

2016
Full season
Finished 7th in the standings from two starts that year, with two podiums to show for it — a strong points-per-lap return for a rookie campaign.
2018
Training abroad
Took the programme overseas — wet-weather kart rounds and track walks in Europe alongside his brother, Talal Beshara, also a Bahraini racer, sharpening car craft ahead of a step up in category.
2019
Step up, Sepang
Guest-entered car No. 17 for Malaysian squad Meritus.GP in a Mygale M14-F4, running alongside Talal in car No. 20. A one-off round against the championship regulars, best result a 10th.
